Capital Group Properties plans to
open 8,500 s/f X-Golf at Warwick Center

Warwick, RI According to Capital Group Properties, X-Golf will open a new location at Warwick Center, a 160,000 s/f shopping center. X-Golf will bring a golf simulator experience to this new 8,500 s/f location slated to open in late 2024 adjacent to The Paper Store.

X-Golf offers an indoor entertainment center, sports bar, and year-round golfing that caters to families, golf amateurs, and pros alike. Informed by nearly 20 years of research and development, X-Golf’s proprietary technology offers the world’s most accurate indoor golf simulator for players to train at their own level on famous golf courses from around the world.

“There are many golf courses nearby especially going toward South County,” said Marc Catanese, owner of X-Golf Warwick. “We’re excited to have those regular golfers come in to check out X-Golf, and hopefully become regular guests while joining our fall and winter leagues.”

There are now 100 X-Golf locations across the U.S. and Canada since the first location opened in America in 2015. This new location will offer lessons by a PGA pro as well as a retail area and event space to host corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and more.

Warwick Center is comprised of national and regional tenants including Barnes & Noble, DSW, Edge Fitness, The Paper Store, Party City, Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant, and Walpole Outdoors. Capital Group Properties has made numerous capital improvements to upgrade the shopping center since purchasing the property in 2022, including enhancements to the landscaping, parking lot, pylon sign, lighting, and building façades.

Located at 1350 Bald Hill Rd. (Rte. 2) along the trafficked intersection of I-95 and I-295, the retail and commuter corridor has more than 35,000 vehicles per day. It is at a signalized intersection across from an 89,000 s/f Market Basket and Home Depot.
