Wendy Dodson, owner of Hummingbird Books, said “Fancy Nancy is a literary phenomenon that has brought joy to children for decades, we are excited to welcome the authors to Hummingbird!”

“It’s hard to believe it’s been twenty years since the very first Fancy Nancy book was published!” said O’Connor, author of Fancy Nancy. “Seeing families still fall in love with Nancy’s world of big words, big imagination, and even bigger personality has been the most splendiferous part of this journey. We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate this milestone with fans at The Street and share the magic of Nancy’s fancy spirit.”

“Bringing Nancy to life on the page has been one of the great joys of my career,” said Preiss Glasser, illustrator of Fancy Nancy. From the moment I read Jane’s manuscript, I saw this little girl who believed she could make the entire world fancy — and, judging by the generations of readers we’ve met, she truly has! We’re so excited to celebrate Nancy’s 20th anniversary at The Street while also sharing her newest adventure in Besties for Eternity with fans.”

“We couldn’t be more delighted to celebrate Fancy Nancy’s 20th anniversary here at The Street,” said Emma Cohen, marketing manager at The Street Chestnut Hill. “This event brings families together to experience the magic of storytelling and creativity, and we’re thrilled to feature it as one of the highlights of our annual Halloweek series.”
