What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? Our firm has been actively researching the impact of AI on the future of the A/E/C industry. Myself and other members of our firm attended a conference that explored how AI will shape our field. During the event, we were also introduced to some existing AI tools that we can use to help streamline and improve many of our processes.

Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? I have always felt that it is so important that more women join this industry. This belief has inspired me a lot over the course of my career and has motivated me to keep improving and growing. My advice to the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry is to have confidence in both yourself and your work. Women bring unique insights and perspectives that are invaluable to this field.

What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work? I always spend as much time with my family and friends as possible to recharge and avoid burnout.
