2024 Ones to Watch - Industry Leaders: Tom Tassinari, CM&B

Tom Tassinari
Executive Vice President/Construction Operations
CM&B

Three skills that you use every day in your position:

Adaptability, communication, and empathy.

Best book, podcast, or app for aspiring leaders:

Leadership and Self-Deception “Getting Out of the Box”.

Best advice for new leaders in 10 words or less:

Always treat people as people, not as objects.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

Over the past two years, I’ve led a new client account for CM&B that will generate $100 million in work. By empowering each team member, I saw CM&B employees take extreme ownership, resulting in the client repeatedly returning to us for additional projects. There’s nothing more rewarding as a leader than seeing individuals unite to deliver operational excellence. Proud to witness this incredible teamwork!

What makes this nominee an Industry Leader?

“Tom is a talented construction professional who understands how to drive operational success at the highest level. He holds himself to exceptional standards and inspires those around him to challenge themselves to achieve their fullest potential. Tom is a great leader and is integral to guiding CM&B into the next generation of success.” - Tim Puopolo, executive vice president/COO, CM&B.
