2021 Women in Construction: Lucy Frye, Project Manager, C.E. Floyd Company
What are you most looking forward to post-pandemic? Being able to spend more time on the jobsite and have meetings in person. It is much easier to build relationships and develop a strong project team dynamic when in person.
Why should women consider a career in the A/E/C industry? While challenging, it is an incredibly rewarding industry. It exposes you to all types of people, projects, and challenges. At the end of a job it’s a great feeling to look back at the final product and the team that put it together.
Starting out in the A/E/C business, who or what empowered you? Superintendent Mark Giglio- he always has my back and taught me a lot about the industry. He really helped me get to where I am today.
