Tiberi of Core Property Group and Brody of Douglas Elliman close $17.025 million sale

Boston, MA Core Property Group, a leading boutique brokerage specializing in investment real estate, and Douglas Elliman completed the sale of a single building in the North End for $17.025 million – the largest transaction of its kind in the neighborhood’s history.

The deal was brokered by Giancarlo Tiberi, founder and principal broker at Core Property Group, and Craig Brody, broker with Douglas Elliman.

“This transaction represents everything we stand for at Core Property Group,” said Tiberi. “It’s the result of persistence, deep local knowledge, and long-term relationships – the pillars our business was built on.”

Tiberi began his real estate career nearly two decades ago renting apartments – a role that provided the foundation for his future success.

“Renting apartments taught me how buildings operate, what drives rents, and how to deliver value to landlords and investors,” Tiberi said. “That experience shaped how we approach every deal today.”

Through years of market analysis, asset management, and investment sales, Tiberi developed a data-driven strategy that has become central to Core Property Group’s success.

Brody, who co-brokered the record-breaking sale, played a pivotal role in structuring and executing the transaction.

“This deal required patience, creativity, and collaboration,” said Brody. “It’s a perfect example of how strategic teamwork and persistence can lead to exceptional results.”

The North End transaction was more than a decade in the making – a pursuit that Tiberi revisited multiple times before closing the deal.

“I failed each time in the past,” Tiberi said. “But giving up was never an option. This sale is one of the most complex and rewarding of my career – a true testament to our long-game philosophy.”

Amid ongoing consolidation in the real estate industry, Core Property Group remains independent.

“We’ve always been a boutique, client-focused firm that punches above our weight class,” said Tiberi. “That will never change.”
