IREM Boston President’s Message: New officers and board of directors
With just under two months remaining in 2022, there are still some things I have left to do before my term ends. One of those items is to announce our chapter’s new leadership for next year, and I am very excited to share this news.
Our new officers for next year include: William Woodward, president (Greystar); Chris Salamanis-Rivera, vice president (Beacon Communities); Anthony Susi, treasurer (First Realty Management); and Yoany Vargas, secretary (Housing Management Resources, Inc.). Our 2023 board of directors is comprised of Christopher Mellen, past international president (The Simon Companies); Peter Lewis (Schochet Companies); David Barrett (RCM Services); Kristin Pine (Fairstead); Frank Cevetello (First Realty Management); Laurie McGrath (Peabody Properties); Kimberly Parker (Maloney Properties); Rob Phillips (The Simon Companies); Scott Michael Chakoutis (Trinity Management Company); Nancy Gaudet (John Corcoran & Company); and John Parda (The Simon Companies).
Our new 2023 officers and board of directors will be formally installed at a celebration on Thursday, December 1, at Granite Links in Quincy.
Additionally, it’s my pleasure to congratulate our newest members of the IREM Boston Chapter, who were installed at our annual wine dinner earlier last month. They include Amelia Davis, ARM (Corcoran Management Co.); David Kyrouz, ARM (First Realty Management); Scott Chakoutis, ACoM (Trinity Management Company – also our newest AMO company); and Krystal Rodriguez, CPM (Peabody Properties).
It has been such an honor to serve as our chapter president over these last almost-two years, and while I am very proud of all that we have accomplished, I know there is still more to do. I look forward to working with our new leadership on continuing to move our organization forward and advancing the profession of real estate management.
I hope you’ll join us on Thursday, December 1 (5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Granite Links in Quincy), at our holiday celebration, where we’ll also officially install our new officers and board directors and present awards from the course of the year.
And congratulations to this amazing leadership team, and to our newest members. I can’t wait to work with all of you!
