Derivatives 101: Hedging Market Volatility Webinar
Amidst the recent interest rate volatility, Matthew Fazio and Michael Roper, managing directors with Kensington Capital Advisors, provided an introduction to interest rate hedging and derivative products on June 3rd. The webinar discussed the current underlying economic conditions that are creating the recent interest rate volatility and reviewed the derivative products available to actively manage that interest rate risk. 

CRE Industrial Insights
June 18th, at PwC, 101 Seaport Blvd., Boston REFA hosted CRE Industrial Insights. The panel kicked off with a national market overview from Lisa Strope, MBA, CRE with TA Realty, setting the stage for a deep dive into the Boston market led by our moderator and 2025 CBA president, Robert Byrne, executive vice president – Industrial, with CBRE. Byrne then led the panel in an in-depth look at the state of the industrial market in Boston and the Greater Boston area. The timely discussion explored key trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the industrial sector. The panel included: Philip Down, chief executive officer, VMD Companies; Michael Olson, managing principal, Rhino Capital Advisors; Parker Snyder, director of business development, ARCO National Construction Company; and Lisa Strope, MBA, CRE, vice president, research, TA Realty.
