C.E. Floyd's award in the annual statewide competition is in the "Historical Restoration over $1 million" category for its construction of the Fowler Branch of the Concord Free Library. C.E. Competition judges applauded C.E, Floyd's success in re-fabricating historic millwork elements, relocating the main entry and fabricating new elements to match historic details. Project owner Concord Free Library and architect John Roberts Associates were recognized along with C.E. Floyd as part of the project team. The award winners were determined by an independent panel of expert judges based on execution of design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, safety and other considerations. The judges were: Daniel Carson, Daniel Carson Consulting Engineering, Charles Sacre, Kleinfelder/SEA Consultants, Paul Tyrell, STV Incorporated, Jim Flanagan, FlanaConsulting.
