Congratulations to the following ASM members for their recent "news-making" accomplishments: * Michael Petrilli of E.H. Marchant Co. was recently elected to a two-year term as president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Greater Boston, a position that had been held by his father in the 1990s. * Paul Coffey of E.J. Wells Insurance (Westford) recently assumed the presidency of the Mass. Building Congress, and will serve through 2010. * Pat Alibrandi of Interstate Electrical Services Corp. (Billerica) was recently recognized as 2009 Entrepreneur from Mass. by American Solutions, a national citizens' action group led by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich that promotes small business job creation. * Mechanical contractor J.C. Cannistraro LLC (Watertown) was recently inducted into the Massachusetts Building Congress' Hall of Fame, together with Bond Brothers Inc. and Wentworth Institute of Technology, at a dinner gala on October 22. The honor is in recognition of the company's commitment to technology, collaborative building initiatives and dedication to the community. Company vice president David Cannistraro serves as president-elect of ASM.
