What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in commercial real estate? The commercial real estate industry is teeming with opportunities and has so many career paths to choose from. My advice is to follow your passion. Explore the various roles within an organization and always seek to learn new skills. The commercial real estate industry is bursting with potential and is a driving force in our economy, making it an incredibly rewarding field to be a part of. Be confident in your abilities and build strong relationships both within and outside your organization. Confidence and a strong work ethic are key. When you exude these qualities, great things will inevitably follow. Remember, you can carve out an amazing career in this industry if you remain dedicated, proactive, and passionate about what you do.

What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? This past year, I had the immense pleasure of being part of the acquisition of Acella Construction. This milestone was particularly special because, for the past two decades, my other company has had the privilege of partnering with Acella Construction as a subcontractor. Throughout this long-standing relationship, we have always held the employees in high regard, appreciating their unwavering dedication to their customers. The acquisition has opened up exciting opportunities for us to grow the business further. We are enthusiastic about building on the solid foundation of commitment and hard work that our employees have consistently demonstrated. Running a successful construction company is no small feat, and we are proud of the relationships we have cultivated with both our employees and customers. Their pride in the direction we are moving is incredibly motivating.
