What person, project, transaction, or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year? The volatility and unknown future of interest rates has made clients rethink breaking ground on upcoming projects. In the multi-family development world, new regulations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island may open a lot more opportunities for denser residential development.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2023?
I was the project manager for DiPrete on Massachusetts’ first Topgolf which opened in November. Beyond being a very different type of project on a challenging site, Topgolf is anticipated to have a significant economic impact, bringing over 500 jobs to the area.
How has your career path changed in 2023? I was named a principal in January which has allowed me to expand my duties from client and project management to high level strategy and operational aspects of the firm. I’m excited to be in this position as DiPrete continues to expand.
