2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Adam Byrd, Callahan Construction Managers

Adam Byrd, CPHB
Senior Project Manager
Callahan Construction Managers

Number of years at firm: 3.5

One thing on my bucket list: To visit all seven continents.

When I am not working, I am: Traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? We were working on a multifamily development in Lynn, Mass. called Breakwater when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. We faced significant issues with manpower and material procurement due to supply chain issues. I am proud to say that we finished the project on time despite these challenges. I am currently working on another large residential development in Manchester, NH where we encountered numerous unfavorable existing site conditions. The job was forced to shut down for a few weeks while these issues were being addressed, but thanks to some creativity in resequencing the work, we are already back on our original schedule.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Adam has consistently delivered outstanding results while successfully managing multiple large ($60 million, $75 million) projects simultaneously. His ability to lead his project teams, identify and resolve challenges quickly, and manage the customer relationship makes me confident that he will continue to drive Callahan to new heights.” - Joe Horrigan, Project Executive at Callahan Construction Managers
